The name Sara means “princess.” As the oldest of three girls, I like to assume that I have the princess role in our family, but truthfully, the spoiling usually goes to this one, my youngest sister. She has never been punished for anything, and I don’t even think she had a cerfew in high school. (Mine was 9:00!!)
I guess I can’t blame my parents too much for this, however, because Sara really never is any trouble. Quite the opposite. She gives endlessly of her time, energy, and resources. She loves to serve others and meet their needs. She is always willing to help. I can still remember the days after I had my first baby, I’d call her and beg her to bring me some Chick-Fil-A and fold our massive piles of laundry–and she always did. I’ve been blessed with two GREAT sisters!
Sara is graduating this year with an education degree, specializing in special needs and learning disabilities. She is amazing with kids and I know she will make a fantastic teacher. I’m glad we got to have this fun little session to capture some pictures of her, since she usually avoids the camera with a vengeance.
Isn’t she pretty?
